Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC):
Entrepreneurship is important, as it has the ability to improve standards of living and create wealth, not only for the entrepreneurs but also for related businesses. Entrepreneurs also help drive change with innovation, where new and improved products enable new markets to be developed. Entrepreneurial development has led to more employment opportunities, higher standards of living and visible impact. Entrepreneur in English is a term applied to a person who is willing to help launch a new venture or enterprise and accept full responsibility for the outcome.
Vision:
To encourage and inculcate entrepreneurial spirit into budding Engineers.
Mission:
1.To create awareness on entrepreneurship among the students.
2.To Conduct interaction between industry and budding student entrepreneurs.
Objectives:
1. To create an environment for self-employment and entrepreneurship development through formal and non-formal programmes.
2. Promote students to come up with commercially viable curriculum projects.
3. To conduct programs in Entrepreneurship enabling skills.
4. To organize entrepreneurship development and awareness programs.
6. To organize talks and interaction with young, successful Entrepreneurs.
