Introduction With BATU:

BATU (Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University) is a Technological University of Maharashtra. In this University students will get awarded with B. Tech Degree instead of B.E. Degree. It has Industry Oriented Common syllabus throughout State. Results are declared within time. It takes Re-examination within 10-15 days after results are declared. Here, students will have to choice to select elective subject as per industry oriented syllabus. Students will be able for direct doing “Internship” in 8th Semester. This will help them in getting job. It has Examination pattern of 60-40. BATU syllabus is based on project based Learning. Also it has centralized placement assistance. 

The department of Applied Engineering has been established in 2011. The department has strong academics, well qualified and devotional staff. Basically the first year of engineering is having subject like English (Communication Skill), Maths, Physics and Chemistry and Electricals; which comes under the general Science Department. The staff of general Science department has presented papers in national conferences and mostly interested in research work. General Science department is having attractive infrastructure and well equipped labs. The speciality of this department is language lab (communication Lab); we believe in interactive teaching learning process. The laboratory teaching is going to prove beneficial because our student is getting selected in campus interview just because of their effective communication.
