Preparation for Campus Recruitment
- Students are firstly introduced to current scenario of placements, visiting industries, etc.
- We thoroughly explain the Placement pattern, eligibility criteria of different companies, job offers, etc.
- The students are made aware with the Recruitment Process.
- We discuss and explain Do’s and Don’ts, traps and tricks of GD.
- The students are trained for the Personal Interview round by conducting mock interviews.
- The students are guided in concern with the common mistakes they commit during the entire procedure (Aptitude Test/ GD / PI).
- We provide test material to the students which help them to prepare and confidently appear for campus drives.
- We conduct one month full time aptitude training sessions of pre-final year students during their vacations. The experts from industry as well as academia guide students.
GATE: A Placement Activity
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all-India examination being conducted and administered by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology. It is conducted by the National Coordination Board GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. In the present competitive scenario, where there is mushrooming of universities and engineering colleges, the only yardstick to measure and test the caliber of engineering students is the GATE. The GATE score is used for admissions to post-graduate programs (e.g., M. E., M. Tech, direct Ph.D) Several Public Sector Undertakings, have, in the past, used GATE scores for screening. A select few such organizations are: Indian Oil Corporation Limited, National Thermal Power Corporation, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation and Power Grid India Direct recruitment to Group A level posts i.e., Senior Field Office (SFO Tele), Senior Research Officer (SRO) (Crypto) and SRO(S&T) in Cabinet Secretariat is now being done on the basis of GATE scores.The Training & Placement Cell gives presentation to all the classes which explains zero to zenith information regarding GATE.The Cell has planning to conduct GATE coaching for pre-final and final year students from the current academic year.
